It pains me to make this www.blackstreetbbw.com informational newsy blog post with sad news like this, but that’s what’s happened. You probably don’t care about any of the following, but I do. The very first person to ever join www.blackstreetbbw.com‘s membership has finally run out after it’s cancellation.
This great person from Israel, the first subscriber, was the only person to see the Member’s Area ofwww.blackstreetbbw.com before the first update. The only person besides me to see the ‘very first posting’ back when blackstreetbbw.com only had 200 bbw videos. I kind of laugh now, and remember laughing then too, over howthe Other Section was the ‘Long Hair Section’ with only three vids and 31 seconds of video in it… and how the actual Other Section was cordoned off with ‘!– ‘ HTML tags for future use when I actually got some ‘Other’ Section videos that weren’t Long Hair Videos. You probably don’t give a hoot about that, but I do, and it’s my blog and my rant… and… well, I guess if you’re still reading here and haven’t skipped to the bottom this little reminiscent reminisce post, then I guess you must care enough to read it.
I originally set www.blackstreetbbw.com’smembership rate at two months for $4.50, but after three whole days with no one joining to watch any of my crappy videos, I thought I’d better lower that price. I lowered it to two months of blackstreetbbw for $2.50 and got my first member, then I did my first update, and that’s when the memberships started coming in. It took me a long time to work my way back up to that price. I would raise rates every two months or so: Up to $2.99, then $3.50. Then I partnered up with Jonas and had to pay him out of my membership transactions, so I raised the rates to $4.50 in February ’07. Maybe it was just coincedence that noone joined initially when prices were $4.50? What if the people who looked at blackstreetbbw.com back when it was just a Home Page, were interested in joining and would’ve done it? I wonder what would’ve happened when I looked at my web stats for the site before officially opening it and saw someone had looked at The Join Page, the one that surprised me with thier interest and prompted me to post the site launch date,(one of the only times I actually did anything blackstreetbbw on the date I promised) July 20th, 2006 on the Join Page- what if they’d joined then? How much money would I have made off blackstreetbbw? What would it cost now? Who knows. I don’t.
Things’ve pretty much only gotten better since then- until October ’08, when things started going down fast. That’s the month where this guy, the guy I’d thought’d always be with me, cancelled his membership. Of course he had plenty of time left, and I gave him a lot of free extra time because I really didn’t want to see him go, but I couldn’t bring myself to give him an immortal membership, so… now he’s gone.
he was a quiet guy. Never emailed me. Never complained. Just kept loggin’ in. I’d thought that maybe he never sent me any emails, not even replies to the ones about his login info, because he didn’t speak english, but I’m sure he did well enough because he certainly understood everything. Back when he joined, that was when I found out that I didn’t understand integrating Authpro with PayPal IPN technical mumbo jumbo stuff, so I wouldn’t be able to synchronize Authpro, my password service provider, and PayPal, my money middleman, and I had to send this patient fellow login info I had to create for him. And back then I didn’t even get how to use default login registration links, so every time someone joined blackstreetbbw, they paid $2.50, got nothing, then later I’d have to register them by hand, type in the after password member landing page and email them thier login info. Glad I don’t have to do all that any more. Most people get Instant Access now, everyone can see that I’ll help them soon by email if they don’t, and if I do have to help them, I can let them register themselves unless I want to register them, and I never have to put in a landing page, so now I can use that blank in thier profile in my password system to leave notations in there about them. Things like “First member ever”, “First person to use new monthly subscription option”, or to put thier PayPal email in when they use one email for there and one for blackstreetbbw, so I can look them up in my password system to enter their cancellation date after they cancel thier memberships. Now the people who got blackstreetbbw access for two months for only $2.50 are just about gone. now whole months full from the past have no members left from that month of that year.
Hope you enjoyed your little trip to blackstreetbbw’s past for your blackstreetbbw.com history lesson.
